“New North End Democrats have endorsed Ali Dieng, a West African immigrant and Burlington school outreach coordinator, as their candidate for a soon-to-be empty seat on the Burlington City Council.
Ward 7’s outgoing councilor, Democrat Tom Ayres, is stepping down from the council in June because of a new job in Randolph.
