Our children are our greatest resource for the future. We must focus on their entire learning journey, from early-childhood through higher education. All Burlington children must have access to safe schools, designed for 21st Century learning, equitable quality education,and the opportunity to strive for higher education and successful careers no matter their background. Through stronger City/School collaboration, we can harness the resources in our community, including our partners in higher education, their professors and students, for the benefit of all our children’s success. Under my administration, we will develop new and collaborative programs and projects that will increase youth engagement and strengthen their sense of belonging in our community at every age.
